Camp Creek

This house came to us as a project for a couple moving down from New Hampshire.  The design originated from a Frank Betz stock option that the couple had customized to meet their needs.  The Project site was a 16 acre lot in Camp Creek with large fields and views of the smokey mountains.  What made this very unique is much of the initial work started remotely over email and phone calls.

Custom Everything

As this project went on new and exiting ideas were discussed.  The basement was fully designed but not to be completed.  However, much of the space was built out in order to use the materials as structural members.  There is not a single concrete column used in the building of the house.  The 50′ garage is a wide open space with room for three cars and extra toys.  The house features a full Motor Coach hookup with 50-amp service, water, septic, satellite and cable hookups.  The custom shower and kitchen completed the interior aspects.

Technology and More Technology!

Not only is there five zones of HVAC using three heat pumps and dual fuel as well as electric systems, but all are controlled using NEST thermostats.  There is hundreds of feet of network and satellite cable along with NUVO Technologies whole home audio and RBH speakers in the ceilings of many rooms.  The network and audio gear is housed in wall cabinets placed in well thought out locations for easy access later.  There is 400-amp power service split by a Generac whole home generator with remote monitoring.  The list of technology goes on including security system and cameras access using Alarm.com.  All we can say is our electrician may or may not have had a lot of work to do on this house!
